The cottage is situated opposite the main park in Oulton Broad and is only 200 yards from the Broad itself. 

Within 100 yards there is a Spar mini supermarket which opens 7.00am to 10.00pm every day, a Chemist, a Butcher, a Wine Bar, two Public Houses serving food, a Chinese, Pizza and Fish and Chip takeway and an Indian Restaurant 

To also add to the attraction is a delightful gift shop and attached to the cottage itself is an old fashioned Tea Room serving home made food to a very high standard. 

The park opposite also has a vast play area for children, trampolines and a pets corner. 

Oulton Broad has two stations one to Norwich and the other to Ipswich.  These are within a ten minute walking distance of the cottage. 

Oulton Broad is 25 miles from Norwich – 8 miles from Great Yarmouth which hosts huge seafront attractions and 2 miles from Lowestoft with its award winning beach.   You can in fact walk to Lowestoft from the cottage using a public right of way and this takes about 30 minutes. 

Oulton Broad offers fishing, daily boat hire, river trips and sailing. 

Ideal base for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk.
